About Me

The Mary Emma Evans Foundation is a 501C3 non-profit organization that is located in Vance County. The foundation was created in memory of the late Pastor Mary Emma Evans. Evans is known for her work in the City of Henderson under various titles from pastor, councilwoman, advocate and more. The foundation provides a variety of  services from food pantry in partnership with Cook's Chapel Church, youth outreach, education and homelessness resources. The foundation has also partnered up with  N.C. Adopt A Highway and is a member of the Vance County Chamber of Commerce.


Food Pantry is every Monday and Wednesday at Cook's Chapel  Church at 146 Center St., Henderson, N.C. 27536 at 12:30p.m.-12:45p.m.

Youth Basketball- TBA

Monetary and in person donations are accepted daily!
